Four-Roll Crusher: Technical FAQ
Q1: Why is this machine considered “anti-clogging”?
Traditional crushers often rely on internal screens which can easily get blocked by wet or sticky materials. Our Four-Roll Crusher uses a screen-less design and low-speed extrusion, allowing it to process materials with up to 30% moisture (like wet coal gangue) without sticking or downtime.
Q2: What is the benefit of the two-stage roller design?
The upper rollers act as a coarse crusher and the lower rollers act as a fine crusher. This “Integrated Crushing” means you get your final product size (as fine as 0.1mm) in one pass, eliminating the need for extra return conveyors and screening machines, which saves space and electricity.
Q3: How do you handle maintenance of the roller surfaces?
APEX rollers use high-chromium manganese steel alloy surfacing technology, which is incredibly wear-resistant. A key feature of our design is that we support on-site surfacing repairs, meaning you can maintain the equipment without a full teardown, drastically reducing spare parts costs and downtime.
