1. The HSM coal gangue double tooth roll crusher consists of two heavy-duty toothed rolls that rotate toward each other at relatively low speeds. Material enters the V-shaped crushing chamber from above. The two rolls bite the material and apply shearing, tensile, and extrusion forces – rather than high-speed impact.

2. Because the tooth plates are specially designed with a self-cleaning profile, the material cracks along its natural fissures instead of being violently smashed into powder. Once the particles are crushed to a size smaller than the preset roll gap, they fall through by gravity. There is no screen plate below the rolls, so no retention zone is created. This prevents clogging and ensures that already qualified particles exit immediately without being over-crushed.

3. The roll gap can be adjusted hydraulically, allowing operators to change the output size quickly and precisely. When uncrushable material such as tramp iron or extra-hard rock enters the chamber, an overload protection system (fluid coupling or electronic sensor) automatically reverses or stops the rolls, expels the foreign object, and then resumes normal operation.
