The HSM Trommel Screen (also known as a rotary screen or drum screen) is a robust mechanical screening machine designed for precision separation of bulk materials. By utilizing a rotating, perforated cylindrical drum, it efficiently classifies materials by particle size.

Whether you are scalping oversized rocks in a gold mine, sorting municipal waste (MSW), or grading construction aggregates, our trommel screens deliver high throughput with minimal maintenance.

Anti-Clogging Design

Material movement naturally dislodges blockages. Optional self-cleaning systems available for wet/sticky materials.

Wash-Integrated Option

Can be equipped with high-pressure water sprays for simultaneous washing and screening of clay-heavy ores.

Working Principle

Material is fed into the inclined, rotating drum. As the drum turns, the material tumbles and spirals downward. Undersized particles pass through the screen apertures into a collection hopper, while oversized materials are discharged from the lower end. Internal lifters enhance the tumbling action to break up agglomerates.
