Granite, due to its hardness and abundant reserves, is an excellent raw material for producing high-quality construction aggregates and manufactured sand. However, granite typically has a Mohs hardness of 6-7 and contains high quartz content with extreme abrasiveness, making it known as the “tough nut” in aggregate processing. Traditional crushing equipment faces three major pain points when processing granite: first, wear parts such as hammers and liners wear out extremely quickly, leading to persistently high maintenance costs; second, equipment struggles to “bite” into hard materials, causing significant capacity reduction; third, the finished sand has excessive flakiness content and severe over-crushing, making it difficult to meet the stringent requirements of high-standard ready-mix concrete and large-scale infrastructure projects. Core Equipment: Granite High-Pressure Roller Mill (HPGR)

The core of this solution is Huashengming’s independently developed high-pressure roller mill (HPGR). This equipment abandons the traditional high-speed impact crushing mode and innovatively adopts the “interparticle crushing” principle. Driven by a powerful hydraulic system, two counter-rotating high-strength wear-resistant rollers rotating at low speed apply up to 50-300MPa of static pressure to the material passing between them, causing the material particles to crush and shear each other, achieving efficient “breaking material by material” crushing.

Greater Hardness, Better Performance, Excellent Particle Shape: Adopting the quasi-static pressure interparticle crushing principle, granite is crushed layer by layer along internal cleavage planes under strong compressive force. The manufactured sand produced is mostly cubical in shape with well-graded particle size distribution and extremely low flakiness content, perfectly meeting the requirements of high-standard engineered sand.

Special Wear-Resistant Materials, Significantly Reducing Operating Costs: To address the strong abrasiveness of granite, the core roller shells are made of high-chromium manganese steel composite wear-resistant material, combined with tungsten carbide studded roller surfaces or centrifugal casting and rare metal alloy hardfacing technology, offering both high hardness and good toughness. Compared to traditional equipment, the service life of roller shells can reach up to over 20,000 hours, greatly reducing downtime losses and consumable costs from frequent parts replacement.

Intelligent Hydraulic Control, Precise and Safe: The equipment features an automatic hydraulic adjustment system that precisely controls the discharge gap, enabling stepless adjustment of output particle size. Meanwhile, the built-in hydraulic overload protection mechanism instantly retracts and automatically resets when encountering unbreakable materials such as tramp iron, completely eliminating the risk of jamming and ensuring continuous and stable production.

Dry and Wet Processing Without Clogging, Strong Adaptability: The unique screenless design allows it to handle granite tailings with high moisture content or stickiness without blockage, completely eliminating the clogging and blinding issues common with traditional equipment, ensuring all-weather continuous operation.
